Got the 5oz daily lunch special. It was good but sauce could be more flavourful. Large portion. Had a hard time choosing from so many options and most of which are very large. 8oz plug average. Made fresh, sauce was also very fresh and hand delivered to you where you sit for take out etc. Great halal option in the city if you’re looking for a burger.

Was looking at places to grab a bite and stumbled upon Grill Gate. Saw their sandwich pictures on their menu and website and it looked amazing. Ordered the grilled chicken and Philly cheese steak and they matched the pictures perfectly. The taste also matched how good the pictures looked. It did not disappoint. Wanted to take the sandwiches in the elevator because they were next level!

I’ve been wanting to try Grill Gate for years but just never got around to it. This time, while doing laundry next door at the coin laundry, I finally stopped in for dinner and I’m really glad I did. The food was exceptional. Shoutout to the two ladies working there for their amazing service. Even though it’s a franchise, the plating and overall quality of the food were phenomenal. The customer service was excellent, and I’d definitely recommend stopping by and trying the Philly cheesesteak, just maybe not too often, since it’s definitely on the indulgent side
